Ana's Dream - Documentary

KALIPAY

Assignment

The challenge began with a call from journalist Federico Cardelús to our producer Pablo Yarnoz. Federico had met Anna Balcells during a trip and was determined to document her incredible work in the Philippines through her foundation, Kalipay Negrense. However, he needed a technical team capable of bringing this vision to life.

Challenge

Mad Media Madrid responded to the call by providing the necessary technical means and embarking Jaime Díaz de Tuesta and Álvar Alonso on a month-long adventure in the Philippines alongside Federico. During this time, the team captured images and sounds that reflected the dedication and effort of Anna and her organisation.

On their return, Federico and Desiré Eduro took charge of the editing, transforming the recorded material into a powerful and emotive documentary that left no one indifferent.
