Mad Media Madrid took on the challenging task of creating a promotional video for the standout mountain biker Iago Garay and his sponsors. Inspired by the atmospheric film ‘Donnie Darko’, our director Pablo designed a visual concept that captured the musical intensity and reckless nature of Iago's riding, in order to translate his riding dynamic into a captivating narrative for the video.
During filming, which took place on the trails of Moralzarzal in Madrid, we deployed a range of advanced cinematic techniques, including slow-motion and other visual effects to highlight Iago's stunts and enhance the emotion of each moment on the track. Post-production editing was meticulous, focusing on editing the footage to emanate energy and emotion, using visual effects and colour correction to create a visually stimulating experience and maintain viewer engagement from start to finish.
